Paraffin Treatments

Paraffin treatments involve the use of warm, melted paraffin wax to provide therapeutic benefits for the skin, muscles, and joints. During the treatment, the hands, feet, or other affected areas are dipped into the wax or coated with it using a brush, then wrapped in plastic and insulated to retain heat. As the paraffin cools and solidifies, it creates a soothing, warming effect that helps increase circulation, relax muscles, and soften the skin. This therapy is commonly used to alleviate stiffness and pain associated with arthritis, tendonitis, and other joint conditions, while also providing deep hydration to dry, cracked skin.

In addition to its pain-relieving properties, paraffin treatments are often used in spas and therapeutic settings to enhance relaxation and improve skin texture. The heat from the wax opens pores, allowing for better absorption of moisture, making the skin feel smoother and more supple after the treatment. Athletes, individuals with chronic joint pain, and those with dry or rough skin can benefit from regular paraffin therapy sessions. The treatment is non-invasive and gentle, making it suitable for most people seeking relief from muscle tension, joint discomfort, or skin issues.
